The airport has a bus that arrives every single 15 minutes, and this bus brings you on a tour of the major attractions in the city. You can hop off the bus and on the bus as you please, and best of all the city tours are completely free. You will enjoy seeing attractions and sights in Singapore such as Chinatown, the Colonial District and Marina Bay Sands. You can catch a bus right from Terminal 3, so if you have a connecting flight to make or you have to wait a few hours for your next plan to arrive, then hop on the bus and take a free city tour.

Imagine if there was an airport that had a massive garden with butterflies in it because you don’t have to imagine it, as the Changi Airport has one. In 2008, the airport opened it up in Terminal 3, which is where you’ll find over 200 species of butterflies, as well as foliage and natural skylight. If you have a long layover at the airport, then head over to Terminal 3 and check out the butterfly garden. You can easily spend an hour or two there before catching your flight. Singapore is after all known as the Garden City!

If you like watching movies to pass the time by, then you’ll be pleased to know there are cinemas at Changi Airport’s Terminal 2 and 3. Best of all, the cinemas often plays new movies and special releases, but don’t worry about paying for tickets. This is because the cinemas are free to visit and both cinemas are open all the time, so it doesn’t matter if you’re at the airport early morning or the middle of the night, you can pop in and catch a film. There’s nothing like watching a good movie or two in order to kill time.

One of the best things about the airport are its lounges, which allow you to catch some rest or get caught up with work. You’ll love relaxing or working in the lounges, but let’s not forget to mention that there are convenience stores and even grocery stores located throughout the airport. Many of the stores are open 24/7, so it doesn’t matter what time of the day or night you are at the airport, you can easily find a store that’s open. Best of all, they carry a range of products, so you can rest assure you will find what you’re looking for.
